How prayer times are calculated in Saudi Arabia
Prayer times in Saudi Arabia are determined by the Umm al-Qura University calculation method in Makkah. Fajr begins when the sun is 18.5° below the eastern horizon, while Isha is fixed at 90 minutes after Maghrib (extended to 120 minutes during Ramadan, which the site automatically applies). Asr is calculated using the standard shadow rule.
The whole Kingdom observes one time zone, and every city page shows its local time. We feature accurate prayer schedules for 29 Saudi cities, including Jeddah, Riyadh, Mecca, Medina, and Dammam. Every city page uses its exact geographical position, delivering authoritative prayer times and Qibla directions for residents and pilgrims alike.
