How prayer times are calculated in Palestine
Prayer times in Palestine are computed according to the Muslim World League calculation method. Under this system, Fajr begins when the sun is 18° below the eastern horizon, while Isha starts at an angle of 17° below the western horizon. Asr is determined using the standard jurisprudence rule where an object’s shadow equals its height plus noon shadow length.
Palestine operates under one time zone, and each city page uses its own local time. Our site covers 6 Palestinian cities: Gaza, Khan Yunis, Jabalia, Hebron, and Nablus. Each municipal page calculates authentic prayer schedules, imsakiyah times, and accurate Qibla bearings directly from its local coordinates.
